Lyrics of a new song for the Maestro Motley:

A wise man taught us long ago
To share the love within our hearts
Sing with joy and we would know
That we’d each done our part

And so we’d sing for diplomats
‘twas peace we’d celebrate
Sang for the Pope and immigrants
For kings and heads of state

A lifetime of memories, of wisdom and of grace
We lived them all together, right here in this place
A lifetime of giving, of the music in our souls
That’s the gift he gave to us to keep, as we grow old

Now it’s time to say goodbye
To a mentor and a friend
But each of us knows just why
He’ll be with us without end

A lifetime of memories, of wisdom and of grace
We lived them all together, right here in this place
A lifetime of giving, of the music in our souls
That’s the gift he gave to us to keep, as we grow old
