The Dream Journal – March 2026

Hello!

I suspect you saw all the news reports across the country were talking about the Blizzard of 2026 here in the Northeast last week. Well, we can safely say we survived it, especially since all we got from it was somewhere in the range of 1-3” of snow. Yes, that’s a mere dusting compared to the 3 feet that Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts got, and is less than half of what we had gotten in a storm a week or so earlier. We hope our friends in the storm’s epicenter have gotten dug out by now, but we have to admit we were happy to miss it up here in southwest New Hampshire. As it is, walking across our fields is a challenge at the moment because the snow is over our knees in places! We’re truly having a “proper” Northeast winter this year, complete with lots of sub-freezing temperatures (and occasional sub-zero ones), and frequent snow. It’s been a lot of years since we’ve had a “proper” winter, and I guess we’ve all gotten spoiled!

Speaking of things that haven’t happened in a while, we’re looking forward to getting back to the Singer-Songwriter Cape May Conference and Showcases in Cape May, NJ on Friday and Saturday, March 27th and 28th. SS Cape May was discontinued in 2020 during the Covid shutdown, and didn’t restart until last year. We haven’t attended since 2017. It’s a cool little 2-day conference with daytime panels and workshops, followed by evening showcases around town on Friday and Saturday nights that are open to the public. This year, we’ll be playing a set on Saturday, March 28th at Carney’s Other Room in Cape May. Music starts at 7pm; we’ll be on stage at 8:30pm. Cape May is a funky old seaside town, and we’re excited to be back there!

Our albums Who We Are, Then and Now, Seeking, and Simple Grace are available from us at shows and on our website, through Bandcamp, or you can find them at iTunes and most other online music stores. Our music is also available streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.

As always, you can find additional schedule information on our website. For additional content, follow us on Patreon. For more frequent news updates and information, check out our Facebook fan page.

Daylight Saving Time returns on Sunday, March 8th. Don’t forget to “spring ahead”! Take advantage of the extra daylight in the evening and find some live local music.
